The magic of your smile 😃

This is my soul sista …. one look at her and you know why she is my bestie. Her smile is as big as her generous and caring heart. I have never felt so loved and cared for - and her mouth is a sure giveaway to her kind, generous and nurturing spirit.

Nancy absolutely personifies everything the ancient art of face reading says about a big, beautiful mouth. Face reading is so freaking accurate!!

Ancient face reading tells us that the larger the mouth, the larger our appetite for connection, home and family, gathering knowledge and information, and living our life through our senses of taste, touch and smell.

Our mouths are where we take in nourishment and express our feelings in relationship.

Lovelies with large mouths are typically very generous, caring and have an innate need to help, nurture or feed others.

Your girl with a large, prominent mouth and full lips?

She's like a divine mother ... or an

Earth Goddess ... safe, strong, loving, accepting and comforting.

Yeeeessss 😌 ... sigh ...

She feeds you with exactly the nourishment you are craving and she does it with care and kindness, and probably the most delicious hugs you have ever received. 🤗

Of course, everyone’s mouth is wider and bigger when we are smiling, which is also when we are most generous and caring!

A good lifestyle prescription for all of us would be to find reason to smile broadly as often as possible, to embody the kindest, most caring and generous aspect of ourselves.

But, when one of my patients or clients is graced with this beautiful feature, I know that her prescription for lifestyle medicine needs to be different than a beauty with a smaller mouth.

A prescription for a sister with a beautiful, bodacious mouth might also look like this: eat more. Eat more nourishing, grounding foods ... preferably surrounded by family and friends.

Harvest Happiness Salad

For the Salad:

1 head of romaine, butter lettuce or bunch of baby greens

1 small tomato, chopped, or about 8 cherry tomatoes, halved

1 small ears worth of corn

chopped chives, for garnish

Buttermilk Chive Dressing ( makes about 1 1/4 cups)

1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked 2 hours

1/2 cup pine nuts, soaked 2 hours

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp onion powder

Juice of one lemon

2 tsp seasoned rice vinegar

3/4 cup water

3 TBS chopped chives

Directions:

Blend all ingredients but the chives in a high speed blender until smooth. Toss the chives in the finished dressing and stir.

To assemble the salad, toss the greens and vegetables in as much dressing as you need.

Garnish with chives, sit down and eat with someone you love ... and enjoy!!

Each aspect of our face, from the curve of our lips, to the shape of our eyebrows and the contour of our chin - even each line and marking - tells our personal story of how we tend to think, feel and behave...and holds the key to our hidden powers.
