Acu Micro-Needling
AcuMicro-needling is a 2,000 year old time tested treatment originating in ancient China. Emperors, the Empress and the Emperor’s concubines who wanted to live forever used this technique to remain youthful.

Of course, modern technology has upgraded this practice and now a top of the line, premium class 2 medical device is used to safely insert very short, fine, sterile needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. Rather than typical acupuncture needles, acu micro-needling treatments are performed with an oscillating pen-like device that inserts tiny needles into the superficial layers of the skin to stimulate a healing reaction.

The mechanical action of the pen allows the needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled mini "injury" at a specific depth of about .25 - .5 mm, generating tiny (micro) wounds in the skin. With each puncture, our skin's natural repair response starts producing collagen and elastin to heal the controlled mini wound that was just developed.
New capillaries are formed for improved blood supply and cellular turnover greatly is enhanced, resulting in healthier, firmer, smoother skin, more even skin tone, softening of fine lines and wrinkles and reducing the appearance of scars.
With microneedling, the top layer of the skin is treated without being damaged, leaving the skin intact. There is no bleeding during micro-needling. It does not “burn” your skin like peels or more invasive lasers. This is a process of natural healing and regenerating which makes our skin tighter, smoother, healthier and more radiant.

Visible results begin with the very first treatment and will continue for weeks afterward. Unlike Botox and fillers, Acu Micro-needling is a cumulative treatment. As collagen levels continue to build up, your skin becomes more luminous and your complexion more even, healthy and radiant over time.

AcuMicro-needling is performed only once a month, no matter how much you beg.
After your treatment, your skin may appear pink or slightly red, and may feel similar to a mild sunburn. This typically disappears after 12–24 hrs. You will receive a patient aftercare kit to accelerate your recovery and results.
Results are sometimes apparent after one treatment and will improve over a series of monthly treatments, depending on your age and condition of your skin. Mature women should expect to see the most significant results after 6 - 8 sessions. Results will continue to progress for several months after your last treatment, and continue to last ... often with no maintenance!

What to expect
Straightforward and bold. You will receive micro-needling of your whole face, as well as full body acupuncture for stress relief, beauty enhancement and overall health and rejuvenation.
You'll also be soothed with an aloe and hyaluronic acid after-care mask, special serums and skin elixirs, and a cooling and beautifying jade rolling facial massage.
If you are looking for quick visible results, this is your treatment. Expect to see even greater improvement over the course of two weeks.

A series of 4 - 8 treatments, received once a month, will give you results that will last for 2-5 years.

If, during your initial consultation, we determine that this the best beauty treatment for your skin and your needs, you will need to plan ahead for your treatment. Do not receive micro-needling the day or week of an important event.
