Magical Muesli 🥣

Updated: Aug 12, 2020

Girl. What are you eating??

That cold cereal dumped from a box that's been sitting on your pantry shelf for awhile sure is convenient ... but, day after day?

C'mon honey ... does it really make you feel radiant??

Because, energetically? I see dry, beige, lifeless flakes of ... BLAH.

Just look at it ... 👉

I mean, it's not at all radiant.

Industrial grain and sugar stuck together with a little corn syrup, canola oil and BHT for freshness and extruded into cute little shapes.

Really.

Go ahead. Shake the box. That sound about sums it up.

Dry. Boring. Flakes.

I mean, no self-respecting bug will try to eat it. Why should you??

Remember, sweetie - if you want to feel radiant, beautiful and deeply nourished, you gotta fill yourself with foods that are radiant, beautiful and deeply nourishing.

Not dry beige stuff from a box.

Luckily, you've got a sister who's got your back. 🙋🏻‍♀️

You can make the most nourishing breakfast muesli from ingredients you probably already have in the cupboard. Ready? Let's do it:

Breakfast Muesli

(Serves 2 adults; or 4 (or more) children)

  • 1 or two medium sized organic apples, cored and chopped (use a combination of sweet and sour apples) fresh figs or or any fruit you have on hand and happen to love.

  • 1 banana, sliced into rings or 1 handful of organic berries – or both!

  • 1/2 cup soaked almonds (1/4 cup before soaking overnight)

  • 1 handful of raisins or goji berries

  • 4 medium sized pitted dates

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

  • Optional: 1 handful dried shredded coconut

Pulse the almonds and dates in a food processor. Add the chopped apples and spices and pulse again until a coarse granola texture is achieved.

Stir in the remaining ingredients, put it all in a pretty bowl and eat with your milk of choice.

Or -- you know what? You can also skip the food processor and just chop everything up, sprinkle with cinnamon, and pour your milk. Super simple, super sexy. 🤘

This is quite possibly the most delicious and satisfying cereal you’ve ever eaten!

Oh, that's too much trouble for you and you're just not into giving up your bowl of flakes?

OK, honey, at least add a juicy pop of something fresh and colorful like some blueberries, figs or kiwi, OK?! Yeeessss, baby.

Super simple, super sexy 🤘 🧡

What are you feeding your goddess today?
