Six secrets for sexy skin❣️

Updated: May 25, 2023

Healthy skin needs to be nourished from the inside out. Need a few tips to inspire you??

I got you, honey.

Here are six secrets to getting skin that glows:

Skin brush

Get the glow with dry skin brushing. Bathe your largest organ by brushing your dry skin before your bath or shower. Get a brush specifically designed to be used on the skin and use long strokes to brush toward your heart. It feels so good to exfoliate, detox and move your lymph this way. I like to visualize all the energetic muck getting brushed away as I use sweeping motions with my skin brush. Skin brushing can help increase circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite, too. It's a treat for your skin - and you'll tingle all over. Read more in my ebook Cleanse your way to Health Beauty and Longevity

Eat more red bell peppers

Just one ripe red bell pepper, eaten raw, can provide all the daily Vitamin C your bodacious body needs for soft, smooth, healthy skin ❣️ Snack on colorful slices, dip in hummus, add to salads, scramble in eggs, add to stir fry. Other foods high in Vitamin C include kiwi, berries, citrus, broccoli, cabbage and kale.

Aloe vera juice

Yes, aloe vera is still great for burns - it's renowned for its skin softening properties.

Find pure aloe vera juice, preferably from the inner leaves, and drink an ounce or two a day in a shot glass, add to smoothies, pour over ice, add to some sparkling water or juice and make a mocktail ... and don't forget to apply topically right to your skin for extra hydrating and nourishing properties.

Jojoba oil

Is your skin dry and flaky? You need moisture, girl. Jojoba oil moisturizes even the most sensitive skin without leaving a greasy mess behind, and it’s gentle enough to use on your face or your body. Studies show that it improves the health, look and feel of our skin by feeding it essential nutrients like vitamin E to protect against environmental stressors … and it provides long-lasting 24-hour hydration, honey. Jojoba oil is a natural beauty superstar in my book, Wellness for Women, where it’s included in a lot of my DIY recipes for natural skin care. I still use this badass skin food every single day. 🤘 Not only does it make an amazing body moisturizer, it’s freaking awesome to remove make up, condition dry, frizzy hair, moisturize oily, acne-prone skin, soften your cuticles, condition your scalp, and as a carrier for your essential oil perfume.

Drink Water 💧

Water is still the best beauty product on the market. If your skin appears dull and drab, and feels tight, you might be under-hydrated. Eating juicy foods high in water content (fruits and veggies) and drinking more water will help. In fact, drinking half of your body weight in ounces of pure water every day will help your whole body function more optimally, and feed your skin with the moisture it needs to be healthy and sexy.

Sweat

Sweating is still the best detox for healthy skin -- get your sweat on in a hot bath or sauna, or move your energy enough to perspire and sweat it out naturally. You'll cleanse toxins, bring circulation to your face and body and shake off stress.
